Control is from a robust pushbutton pendant suspended on a
non-conduction cord and with lowvolt control circuit.
Convenient
to use, the pendant houses stop and
reset buttons,and individual holdon
with each crane motion, with interlocks to prevent
simultaneous
operation of opposite motions.
The most popular arrangment is mobile pushbutton pendant
independently suspended from a tee
track or auxilary structure carried by
ball-bearing trolleys.

Auxiliary
hoists:
Where a
significant proportion of
loads are lighter than the maximum
crane capacity, an auxiliary hoist can be beneficial for
quicker handling of the lighter loads. An auxiliary hoist
can also be arranged to work in
conjunction with the main hoist to
provide tilting facilities. Main and auxiliary hoists are
independent units
each comprising motor, gearbox, rope drum and control
panel, both units sharing a common crab frame. |
